Report on Monitoring Population Displacement for the Period (6–9 April 2025)

The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip is rapidly deteriorating, with displacement rates continuing to rise due to repeated military operations and evacuation orders issued by the Israeli occupation army since 18 March 2025. These developments have forced thousands of residents to leave their homes and move to overcrowded displacement areas that lack basic infrastructure.

According to the collected data, patterns of displacement and their impacts have been identified. Estimates by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) indicate that approximately 65% of the Gaza Strip currently falls within buffer zones or areas under evacuation orders, accelerating the pace of displacement.

Between 6 and 9 April 2025, an estimated 11,743 people were displaced, while the total number of displaced individuals since 18 March reached approximately 401,825 people, spread across 80,365 households.
